THE ORDINARY CAN
WHEN YOU LEARN TO PAY ATTENTION
Practising Mindfulness is as simple as breathing, and helps you to show up fully in life, enhancing your happiness, performance and well-being.
Switch-off the autopilot and live with more enthusiasm and creativity.
Mindfulness is a non-judgemental awareness, a direct knowing of what is going on inside and outside ourselves, moment by moment. It is inhabiting the present moment, with a curious, interested and gentle attitude. Mindfulness is realising that you have a limitless capacity to develop and refine your mind and therefore improve your performance.
Mindfulness is not a religion, nor is its aim to empty the mind or to become relaxed and chilled.
Why to practice
Research has proven that the brain is constantly changing and adapting as a result of experience.
What we do, think and what we pay attention to can modify the structure and functioning of the brain.
Practising Mindfulness can result in increased optimism, happiness and emotional intelligence. With the reduction of stress and anxiety levels, you might find yourself living with greater satisfaction and contentment.
Learning Mindfulness is like going to the gym, but instead of developing muscles, we exercise and develop the brain. Through the direct experience of physical sensations and the investigation of thoughts and emotions, we can transform the way in which we relate to daily events.
With regular practice we learn to notice patterns of behaviour before they "hijack" us and make us act on autopilot.
Mindfulness training gives you the flexibility to respond with clarity and confidence to personal and professional demands and uncertainties.
Thrive and create to yourself a life that is happier, more balanced and enjoyable.
